It just makes the rest of us look so bad. It is rather obvious that girls like to be pursued, but there is a line where the "chase" becomes stalking. In my experience, if the girl turns you down 3 times or doesn't return your 3rd call/txt..well you call it quits and move on. (No clue why the #3 is the line for me, but it seems to work).
